My Favorite Alien: Prince Mongo of Memphis

I was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Earthy parents. The same can't be said for Prince Mongo, another bizarre Southern icon in one of the South's weirder cities. I grew up with the legend of the man from the planet Zambodia and must have watched the following interview on VHS dozens of times. Enjoy: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MLSznhbuBw]

And yes, as the next video illustrates, he's still at it -- occasionally running for mayor against the likes of pro-wrestler Jerry "The King" Lawler. All this, and Graceland. What a town! [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jU6pGaGPEg]
